Our Forestry Services range from field

resource inventories, and planning. To ensure all the clients' needs are
met, Chartwell's foresters have developed working associations with selected
consultants in related disciplines, such as hydrology, wildlife management
and geomorphology.
Our Forestry Services team works closely
in conjunction with the GIS and Mapping Department to deliver seamless
service to our clients. The team is always prepared to travel and we operate
well in remote or limited access locations.

GIS and Mapping Services
We offer a wide array of mapping, GIS
and analytical services to all levels of government, utilities and private
sector companies. These services include terrain stability and ecosystem
mapping, forest development plan production, updates and maintenance,
forestry operational mapping, preparation of material for public meetings,
and many other special-purpose products. Our knowledgeable and experienced
staff works with our clients to develop effective solutions that are individually
tailored to the project requirements.

photography, survey data, and map bases to the organization of

Visual Impact Analysis
| In
visually sensitive areas visual impact assessment can be an important
part of timber harvest planning. By combining spatial data with
three dimensional computer rendering, realistic landscape scenes
can be produced to show the visual impact of proposed harvesting
from a given viewpoint. Modifications in cutblock design can be
introduced and analysed for mitigation of visual impact.
