FORESTRY SERVICES
Chartwell Consultants Ltd.’s forestry department is composed of Registered Professional Foresters (RPF), Registered Forest Technologists (RFT) and other dedicated individuals. We are experienced in layout, pole placement management, transmission line construction management, surveying using Global Positioning Systems and Real Time Kinematics Equipment and ground truthing of IPP sites. We have established working relationships with professional service providers including geoscientists, engineers, wildlife biologists, fisheries biologists, archaeologists, timber harvesting and road building firms which allow us to provide a complete service package.
GIS & MAPPING SERVICES
Chartwell Consultant Ltd. offers a wide range of analytical GIS and mapping services to a variety of clients including forestry companies, private sector organizations, engineering firms, utility corporations, First Nations and all levels of government. We have the experience necessary to analyze data and create maps for the purposes of overview planning, site analysis and permit application. As a project proceeds through development, the task of tracking, merging and ensuring the integrity of data from a variety of sources becomes very complicated; therefore, the management of data and the ability to produce concise maps are critical factors allowing managers to successfully understand and implement their project.
